MEET SPENCER HAWKS
A fourth-generation Central Arkansas native, he has served Faulkner and Perry County voters in the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2023. Prior to his election to the General Assembly, he served as a Justice of the Peace on the Faulkner County Quorum Court.
As State Representative, Spencer has collaborated with local and state leaders, supporting legislation to bring new companies to central Arkansas, create jobs, expand new business opportunities, and cut Arkansans' taxes.
A proud Conway native, CBC alumnus, and longtime University of Central Arkansas supporter, Spencer has been a champion for education in Arkansas.
The Trump administration appointed Spencer to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) subcommittee on Telehealth. He works with governors, legislators, and mayors from across the nation to modernize information, improve protocols, and provide support materials, including technology grants for the underserved.
Beyond public service, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Xochilt and children Samantha, Selena, and Sebastian, supporting local civic organizations, and with his faith community at Fellowship Bible Church.
A common sense, constituent-oriented, problem solver, his stationery includes the phrase "Work hard. Love people." Spencer asks himself daily if he accomplished his motto and leveraged his position as a public servant to improve the lives of residents and the community.
